Our Story
I founded Belesun out of my passion for the outdoors and the desire to protect my skin. As an avid tennis player, cyclist, and runner with sun-sensitive skin, I wanted an alternative to greasy, chemical-filled sunscreen. But I struggled to find high-quality, comfortable clothing that truly protected key areas like the face, ears, neck, chest, and arms.
That’s why I created Belesun—lightweight, sweat-wicking apparel designed for maximum movement, comfort, and UV protection. With no zippers or buttons, our fabric keeps you cool and unrestricted in hot weather.
Seeing the need for breathable, protective face masks and neck gaiters, I used the same high-performance fabric to create reversible, adjustable designs—perfect for athletes and everyday wear.
Inspired by Belenos, the Celtic god of the sun, Belesun is about more than just sun protection—it’s about freedom. The freedom to move, explore, and enjoy the outdoors without compromise.
